The club was founded in 1987 by a group of enthusiasts to cater for owners of GM's F-body vehicles (Chevrolet Camaro's & Pontiac Firebird's), under the name "Camaro~Firebird Owners Club of NSW". Within a few months, club membership grew and a club magazine/ newsletter was started to inform evergrowing members of the increasing events and news that are associated with F-bodies.

In 1997 the club went national and became a corporation now known as "Camaro~Firebird Owners Club of Australia, Incorporated".

We are the only club in Australia - to our knowledge - that caters exclusively to the General Motors 'F' Body, CAMARO & FIREBIRD (TRANS AM). Club members own a range of vehicles from the very first 1967 models to the very latest models. If you do not own a Camaro or Firebird yet, you can still join our club as an associate member & enjoy all the benifits of our club with the only exception being voting rights on management issues

Our Club revolves around our members, hence we let our members choose their club runs. We organise Go-Kart nights, Model Car nights, Social Cruises, & also attend invitations from other clubs such as Car Shows, Drive-In nights, Swap meets, & Cruises. By far the biggest benifit to our club are the people you meet, who share the same interest as you "CAMARO'S & FIREBIRD'S" and are more than happy to talk about them & any problems they have faced.

We host the vey popular All American Mystery Cruise nights, Monthly during the warmer season. We invite ALL American car owners along for a great cruise, good food, & good company.

CAMARO~FIREBIRD MUSCLE... Is our monthly magazine of which we are very proud. Not only does it have  - in our opinion - a spectacular cover, but it gives you information for coming events, ours & other clubs across Australia, Meeting reports, Event Flyers, Interesting articles, & a Classified Section.

The annual Membership fee is $50 plus a one off $5 Joining Administration fee.
This includes public liability insurance, which protects members during club activities.

Club Meetings are held upstairs at McDonalds Family Restaurant
Cnr Victoria Rd and Church st Parramatta at 8:00pm on the first Wednesday of each month.
